Fifa World Cup : 2018 & 2012

We discussed the countries  that will be hosting the World Cup in 2018 and 2022. We discussed how Russia and Qatar will be the host for this Soccer game. We will look at the map to see where they are located. We will follow up and see what will be done to plan for these big events.

Morning Work: Hike in the Blue Ridge Mountains

This morning exercise was hiking in the hill side and exploring. We walked up and down a hill side. Explored a creek up close and obseved the changing seasons up close. This nature walk with Aleli was to let her explore nature up close. Learn about hiking, mountains, creeks and the seasonal changes in the Blue Ridge Mountains. We explored the creek and learned how the water can be in the surface and under ground. We took about an hour walk in the area.  She explored and observed the leave changes in the trees and experienced nature up close.

Karate Kid Movie

We watched  this movie to learn more about China,its language and culture.We looked at it to learn more about Kung Fu. Aleli really reacted and tried to follow along with the character.
