At this level she has only been placing animals on rectangular patches of grass into feeding pens, but as she continues with this game she will be challenged with determining how many boxes fit in a given larger box. The activities in this section of DreamBox build a foundation for later work with area and volume."

"Aleli is off to a great start in DreamBox Learning! She has played for the first time and is currently developing a strong understanding of 5 and 10, two important numbers in our base-ten system.
When she began, her first game was actually a behind-the-scenes placement lesson that allowed us to start her at the right place in the math curriculum based on what she already knows and should skip, and what she should focus on. For example, Aleli demonstrated her understanding of identifying and building numbers of up to 20 objects, using the least number of mouse clicks.
