Future Lessons

In order to get her to learn about Writing and Art. I have chosen to talk about Calligraphy and print out some cards with different words. She can practice this with watercolor and paint. This way she can learn some basic words and practice calligraphy. Combining Art, Wrting,Reading and a foreign language in the lesson. Also we can talk about the upcoming New Year and about how China celebrates their own New Year too.This way I can introduce her to China and its history. Therefore, it would also be a Social Studies project. I will also use this site : http://pbskids.org/sagwa/games/picturesaswords/index.html as a great online activity to supplement the lesson.

We will also be covering Thanksgiving by providing her with coloring pages and I am Thankful Writing Journal Worksheet. She can start writing about what she is Thanksful. We will talk about the Native Americans and Color a Worksheet, discuss Thankgiving  . Make a count down activity to Thanksgiving....
