Monday: Field Trip

We took her on a field trip to the Farmer's Market and the Library. She got a pet chicken at the Farmer's Market and will be caring for it. This will continue her science studies. She also got her 1st library card from Appalachian Regional Library. We picked out books to explore. She picked out a bunch of Junie B. Jones books . I will be reading the books to her and letting her read words she knows to me. So she can practice her reading. This will be part of Reading Time. We also got  math counting books that lets you count and see the words for the numbers. We got a Spanish book with basic sight words in Spanish. After going to the Farmer's Market and the Library. We had McDonald's for lunch. Then heading home for Afternoon "Reading Time" at home.
